Nathan, has been involved in biathlon for nearly a decade. A lifelong member of the Foothills Nordic Ski Club, he started skiing with his parents doing day-trip backcountry touring. After being placed into Racing Rabbits, he was introduced into the world of
competitive nordic skiing. Shortly after Nathan decided to give biathlon a try and discovered the added challenge of shooting. Among Nathan’s goals in the sport are to compete at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games; to continue training towards earning two
top-15 results at the World Championship level down the road; to improve his climbing speed; and to increase his shooting accuracy to 85 percent. Nathan is a part-time student at the University of Calgary in the faculty of Natural Sciences.
